Not only did he have a great game on the mound but he also had a hit and 2 walks while he did make a mockery of base running I think he was the bright spot of this game

Well today During the Frank Coonelly chat on pirates.com I Posed a question and it got answered
jdom: I was wondering how you feel about Freddy Sanchez after his somewhat disappointing year?
fc_pirates_prez: jdom, we are very excited about having Freddy Sanchez completely healthy all spring, which is much different than each of the last two years. Freddy’s shoulder is completely healthy, and he is making throws that his shoulder would not allow him to make last season. As you will recall, Freddy got off to a very slow start last year but was one of the better hitters in the NL during the second half. Now that he is completely healthy, we expect that Freddy will again be a feared hitter in the National League, and this should bolster the strength of our lineup from the No. 2 spot.
Great answer I must say, I really think He is taking this team back to the top

Looks like the Rotation is pretty much set so i figured I write what I think of each of these guys the will be standing on the mound for my beloved Pirates

Well this is our number one guy “Ace” i guess you would call it I Personally don’t think hes an ace type pitcher i think he is a solid 2-5 pitcher but after having a stellar season last year copared to the rest of our guys hes our number one he is pretty good at getting ground outs look for him to do pretty good and really help this team
Ian Snell
I Think of our Staff that Ian is the Ace but after the year he had last year I find it hard to see anyone on the same boat as me I still see him as our best stike out man and if he would just through inside then he’d be right back on track and help this team win I think that he has improved and is going to have the most wins and strikeouts of this staff and I’m calling it ALL STAR GAME
Zach Duke
Well, Zach Duke he’s interesting to me, I believe he can be a good player but I Don’t know. When he plays well, he’s a heck of a pitcher. I think he is comparable to Paul Maholm if he’s Throwin his stuff good hes a great 3-5 guy on a staff

Ross has looked very good during spring training in 5 apperances 4 starts he has 1 win 0 losse a 0.87 era and 13 strikeouts he looks very promising

All i think about when I see the name Jeff Karstens is that near Perfect game he threw last year I mean how can a guy who almost threw a perfect game not look promising
